This client lives in a property backing onto a rural train line and station in Hampshire and wanted an overhaul for their overgrown and neglected garden. They wanted something unique and functional suitable for use for all of the family.
Taking their location into consideration, Ben came up with a railway themed garden incorporating features familiarly found on railways across the country.
There was a twisting pathway constructed down the length of the garden using reclaimed railway sleepers and aggregate to resemble train tracks, a large timber building at the far end resembling a station and a large brick arch serving as a partition between the seating terrace and remainder of the garden.
Due to their rural location the clients wanted a garden that would also encourage wildlife and birds into the garden so the mid-portion of the garden was sown with wild grass and flower seeds to recreate the type of growth in a natural meadow.
As you can see when comparing the before and after pictures through the clearance of the garden , and the installation of the clean cut lines of the new design it gives the garden a totally new look giving the impression of more space and a more welcoming place to be.
The clients were very pleased and showed their appreciation by giving us 10/10 in all elements on our Checkatrade feedback form.
